A wine of character and a very pleasant impact, with its nuances of red fruit and spicy notes. The skillful use of wood has outlined the great character and the dense and soft tannins.

Production area Sicily: In the municipalities of Canicattì and the hinterland of Agrigento. Limestone sandy-silt soils of medium consistency; at an altitude between 250 – 400 m a.s.l.

Vinification Traditionally red at controlled temperature with complete malolactic fermentation process. Ageing for 12 month in French oak casks and 12 months in the bottle.

Food matches Ravioli stuffed with Ricotta-cheese and pork sauce, paprika goulash, leg of lamb, matured and spicy cheese.
